Leonard Rieger
Vice President of TechnologyThe Vice President of Technology leads the engineering team’s efforts, ensuring smooth planning, coordination, and execution across all technical activities. They establish project timelines, schedule tests and key milestones, and make critical technical decisions. In addition to internal coordination, they cultivate and manage partnerships with industry partners, aligning external collaborations with the team’s engineering roadmap.

Vice President of ResearchThe Vice President of Research drives the association’s scientific work. They oversee experiments and technical reports, and assess new technologies to guide innovation. By combining rigorous documentation with clear scientific communication, they help keep the association at the forefront of progress.

TreasurerThe Treasurer manages the association’s financial health: overseeing income and expenses, keeping accurate records, leading budget creation, and regularly reporting to the board. They process transactions, approve expenditures, ensure compliance with financial policies, and safeguard funds.

The Testing and Simulations team is dedicated to the rigorous validation of our prototypes as we prepare for the 2026 HeartHackathon. Our core expertise involves bridging the gap between design and clinical application by utilizing advanced physical and virtual testing methodologies.
